Description from owner

Ta Mill offers the perfect holiday, be it that long weekend or peaceful break in an idyllic setting. Stay in a traditional Cornish cottage, on this peaceful site of cornish cottages & lodges. The delightful combination of stone, slate and exposed beams reflects by-gone days of the old mill. Centrally heated or with underfloor heating makes these cottages ideal for a cosy break all year round. Newly renovated cottages, they offer mod cons with many original, authentic features retained. Our accommodation will suit guests with or without mobility impairments and our Dairy cottage is M2 assessed with many M3 features.

Escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life as you watch the swallows swooping and dipping in the wildlife pond or the majestic buzzards soaring in the skies above. If you are feeling more energetic, enjoy the games room with table tennis and pool table or try your hand on the pitch 'n' putt. You can take a leisurely stroll down the nature trail or relax in the quiet grounds. Escape to paradise & soak up the atmosphere.

Hayloft cottage is a beautiful barn conversion with lofty ceilings and exposed beams combining modern fittings with original features. This very spacious cottage is a favourite honey moon suite for our wedding guests so enjoy the 4 star luxury and escape to this peaceful hideaway. There is a fold down chair for a child available on request for a small additional charge.

“Beautiful setting and well equipped”

We stayed here on a Groupon deal and it was a lovely break, we stayed for two nights after a night in Padstow & it was a nice contrast. We chose Smithy Cottage which in hindsight wasn't the b… More

Response from the owner Thankyou for your review. The Smithy cottage is small but snug. It is, however, the only cottage on site without central heating and so you are reliant on the electric heaters, which will cost 10p per unit. All our other one bedroom cottages (Millers, Hayloft, Olde Granary and Pump) offer full central heating (included in cost) and log fires so are particularly attractive during the winter months. The Smithy cottage is favourite for some of our guests as it does have one of the best outlooks and 'sunny' southerly patio area. There are also some very good offers on Smithy cottage - so please keep an eye on the website!
