Town: Home to the ruins of what is believed to be the legendary King Arthur's castle, the town of Tintagel is a popular holiday resort. Dominated by the stunning coastline, this area boasts numerous sandy beaches, rugged coves and breathtaking inland scenery. With Trebarwith Strand close by, water sports enthusiasts can enjoy excellent surfing opportunities, whilst for those who prefer dry land the town of Tintagel itself is home to a variety of pubs and restaurants as well as the National Trust property 'The Old Post Office'. Running through the town and winding its way along the cliff top is the SW Coast Path, which covers routes along the sea front as well as through dramatic countryside. Also in the region is the wonderful village of Boscastle, which boasts a quaint quay and plenty of village pubs.
