overlooking southpoint and 25 miles of pristeen coastline is hawaiian journeys, nestled 2500 feet elevation with warm days and cool nites are our yurt, one and two bedroom private units fully furnished very comfortable and cozy. we are halfway between hilo and kailua kona minutes to beaches , hiking, old hawaiian towns shopping , restaurants, coffee farms,and the only green sand beach in the world. our yurts are equiped with wifi, flat screen tv's and much only one year we have been blessed with guests from all over the world. stay with us once and we know you'll be back again. as we say in hawaii e komo mai.

Response from the owner Aloha, the worst winds in February shifted our equipment and finally got the technician to come out but we will be going up to 1 gig in a few weeks when I switch service. It has taken nearly 4 months to finally get high speed internet. Please do come again, maybe I'll have more free time. Thanks for staying. Lisa

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

How do I make changes to my booking?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Lisa (the owner) a message.

If Lisa (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
