Description

Simple place to stay while exploring Asheville. Easy access to all Haywood Road food, entertainment and quick trip to downtown. Guests arrive through a well lit door to find a welcoming living area and a fully equipped kitchen, upstairs is the bedroom and bath. Two levels provide the space and quiet retreat one might need between hiking, biking or dining. Outside is a patio for warmer days. There is off-street parking in the front.

The house is near Dobra Tea West, The West End Bakery, West Asheville Market, Universal Joint, The Admiral, Isis, The Oyster Bar, Sunny Point, Ingles Grocery, West Asheville Bike Shop, one highway exit from Farmers Market and near the North Carolina Arboretum, Biltmore Estate. Easy ride to downtown and all its activities. It is a very happening place if you want it to be; it can also be a retreat and quiet.

My husband and I spent a week here for our anniversary. Jane was so pleasant to work with. This was the perfect place for us! We loved West Asheville as well. I would definitely recommend.

Response from the owner Dear Mr. Galloway, I wonder if you looked in the bank of drawers to the right of the sink. There are a lot of utensils there. The cutlery is to the left of the sink. I would love to know what you would have liked to be added...that will be easy to do. Also, was your disappointment about the bed that it was a double? There are space constraints in a little house...again more specificity would help. I have not had any complaints about the mattress...it is a little over a year old? Again, if I know exactly what it is I can take care of it. Hope you all do come back...kind to give me these suggestions.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Jane (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
