“Great property in a great location!”

Reviewed 28 Jul 2015

This charming property is tucked away in lush vegetation but convenient enough to take a 10 minute walk to the town of Quepos or a 10 minute taxi/bus ride to Manuel Antonio beach and the National Park. Upon arrival the property manager, Tom, pleasantly greeted us and assisted us with our luggage. He let us explore the property which was clean and spacious with a nice open flow throughout the property. Tom recommended a few locations for dining and entertainment and also drove us around town to point out things we might want/need to visit (grocerty store, bank, eateries, beach, etc.). Throughout our stay Tom called to check on us and offered assistance if we needed anything. There was also a basket of fresh local fruit for us to enjoy. The pool was well kept and the neighborhood was very quaint. The housekeeper was pleasant and did a great job keeping the place clean for us. I would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing getaway!

“A trip to paradise”

Fun, sun, relaxations and truly an education. You can find all that at Casa Tres Palmas. We just spent 6 wonderful days there. The house is everything you need for your vacation. Roomy, well laid out and the pool is the right touch for the end of the day swim after all your beach and zip line adventures. It is truly in between Quepos and Manuel antonio. We actually walk into town one day to the central market. All excursions will pick you up at the house. Tom B. the house manager was excellent in helping us pick choices in daily activities and our wife's loved the fact the there is a maid every day to pick-up and clean up. If you are looking for a nice get away this is the place.

“Beautiful Home in Manuel antonio!”

Reviewed 19 Mar 2014

Our stay in Manuel antonio was wonderful. We went with a group of 7 and the house accommodated us well. We made a few breakfasts and dinners in the kitchen and even used the grill a few nights. We loved spending our morning and evenings poolside before or after the beach. Tom, the house manager, made our stay superb. He was able to coordinate day trips, tell us about the best restaurants in town, as well as take us to pick up groceries. We went zip lining, enjoyed a sunset cruise, and visited the national park. We got in ample beach time each day by relying on the buses or taxis which were affordable and timely. We ate delicious seafood every day and enjoyed the happy hours. You can pay in dollars, but it is easier to have colones. Would definitely stay again!

“Amazing week in Manuel antonio!”

Just got back from a one week stay at Casa 3 Palmas and loved every minute of it! I was on vacation with a group of friends and we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Transportation both to and from San Jose airport was arranged for us prior to arrival (thanks Tom!) The unit was perfect!! We had plenty of space between the 2 bedrooms and living room area. The kitchen was spacious and included everything we needed to make meals at the house. The best feature of the house had to be having our own pool right out the back door! The unit is tucked away in the trees but still right off the main road which made for easy access to the beach and other attractions. The house manager, Tom, was extremely helpful. As I mentioned, he helped arrange for our transportation both to and from the airport. He also arranged for our group's two excursions which were ziplining and a sunset cruise. We ziplined with Canopy Safari and did the sunset cruise with Planet Dolphin. Both were great experiences and I would recommend them to everyone. We spent the rest of our time at the beach. We took the bus every day (285 colones or a little more than 50 cents each way). On the first day, Tom introduced us to Oscar who we went back to every day for chair and umbrella rentals. He was great! Finally, we had a maid, Erika, come in to clean every day. She was great and we really appreciated having her there! We had a great time on our vacation and can't wait to go back again!!!

“Absolutely Love This Place!”

I recently returned from my third stay at Casa Tres Palmas and I cannot say enough good things about my experiences. The first two times I went with family and had a wonderful, relaxing time. The third time, I went with a larger group of friends (young adult age) and we had a great time as well. The house is very accomodating, and one of the things that sets it apart from other rentals is that the house retains all the accomodations of home in a lush tropical setting. The house itself is spacious and clean. In my opinion, the pool is the best feauture of the house - perfect after a morning of ziplining or a quick dip after dinner. I cannot say enough good things about Tom, the house manager. He is incredibly kind and accomodating. Having Tom guide you through your vacation makes for a truly memorable experience. He has great relationships with the local businesses and will steer you in the direction of great tours and outings that all are sure to enjoy. The house itself is in a great location, nestled in a gorgeous neighborhood between Manuel antonio Beach and Quepos. Every time I have gone, I have relied on the bus and the occasional taxi for transportation. The bus comes frequently and is easy to use, not to mention affordable. I really enjoy staying at Casa Tres Palmas and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic home to host your next vacation.

“Amazing Stay at Casa 3 Palmas!!”

Reviewed 30 Aug 2013

Our family of 5, including 3 boys ages 12, 10 and 7, decided to stay at a private villa during our recent trip to the Manuel antonio area of Costa Rica. When we came upon the Casa 3 Palmas on the internet, we knew this would be a great place for our family for 3 nights. From our arrival until our check out, we were thoroughly impressed and had an amazing stay. From the very start, Howard (the owner, lives in the USa) will get you set up and answer any questions you have. You receive a wonderfully informative packet via e-mail from Tom Barron, the property manager who lives locally in the Manuel antonio area. Both Howard and Tom are amazing. Tom met us at the villa upon our arrival and spent lots of time showing us around our new home for the next 3 days. Everything was perfect--the pool, the kitchen, movies for kids, comfort of the beds, etc--we couldn't ask for more. All at an extremely reasonable price, as well. The location was perfect--just a short drive to great restaurants, the beach at Manuel antonio and downtown Quepos. The home was very comfortable, spacious and had plenty of room for our family. The pool area was the highlight and where we spent a lot of our time. Tom came by everyday to make sure we were doing well. He offered suggestions on restaurants and made reservations for any activities we wanted--including the Ziplining through Canopy Tours in Quepos. He personally took us to the Manuel antonio beach and introduced us to his local contacts, giving us a great deal on beach chairs, a canopy and boogie boards for the kids. The only regret we had was that we didn't spend another day or two at the villa! Everything was amazing--we'll definitely be back and stay at the same place! Our kids want to go for 3 weeks right now! I highly recommend staying at the Casa 3 Palmas for a relaxing stay in the Quepos/Manuel antonio area of Costa Rica!
