“Great rooms and amazing service!” We stayed in a condo here for almost a week and had a very nice time. The units are spacious and clean and there are only 8 of them so the pool is never crowded. The monkeys will come right up to your balcony and peek in on you, and the place has a guarded gate at the entry 24 hours a day so everything is secure. The location is good as well, right between Quepos and Manuel Antonio so it's close to everything without being right in the middle of a crowded area. We left having had a very nice time and only discovered that we had left a laptop in one of the rooms after receiving an urgent email (we had no phone service) from Dorit, who manages the front office. We had already driven several hours away to our next hotel when we received the message, and were set to fly home a day later. I was afraid I would have to spend my entire day driving back to get the computer, but Dorit quickly and cheerfully arranged it so their driver would deliver the computer to us at our new hotel, 4 hours away (!), that next morning for a very reasonable fee - probably less than I would have spent in fuel if I made the trip to get it myself! They really went above and beyond and saved us a huge hassle and from having to waste our whole last day in the country driving back for the computer. I can't recommend this location highly enough, and the price for the rooms is great as well! Book it now!

“Debra's 50th Birthday” By far one of the best vacations ever. Casa Espanola is a fabulous, upscale villa that is spacious, modern and clean. I traveled with a group of 20 people and everyone was in awe. I probably will never go to a hotel again after the Casa Espanola experience. The dining area was big enough for everyone, thus producing a total family vibe at mealtime. The rooms are big and the beds are huge. Chef Glenda and her daughter were the absolute best and the menu selections are just too many to name. The ride from SJO airport was 2 1/2 hrs but no one seemed to mind the long ride because it gave you an opportunity to sightsee. We also took the local bus in Manuel Antonio for about .67 cents....what a deal. I can't say enough about this fabulous place. I can't wait to go back. Thanks to Amy, Hazel and the staff at Casa Espanola.

“A week in Paradise!” We stayed one week at the Discovery Beach house. My husband, teenage son, 5 yr old son and two friends with their 7 yr old son. Our stay was fantastic! The house is right on the beach, which is not easy to find in Manuel Antonio beach. The house is absolutely beautiful! Not your typical rental house, it has so much attention to detail in every way. It feels cozy from the moment you walk in. The pool is big and the hot jacuzzi great for the evening time. Monkeys and iguanas come right to the property and it is just beautiful to watch. The service in this house is unbelievable! Sabrina, the concierge, is simply the best! She helped us to organize all the tours and to book the private chef, and just made everything go smooth during our stay. Desiree, the chef, is amazing! She made us feel really pampered, and all her ingredients are fresh. Manuela, the cleaning lady, is such a talented person. She surprised us every day with a different work of art on our beds, which she makes out of towels. One day it was a monkey, other an iguana, and so on. She cleaned the house everyday and did our laundry, too. Juan is the guard and was also very helpful. He made sure that the jacuzzi was hot at night time, opened coconuts for us, and in general made us feel very safe throughout our stay. And of course, Diego and Frida, the dogs, add so much to the whole experience. My sons were so happy to have them around. The owners were so great that even got a new queen air matress so that my mom, my brother and his wife could come and stay with us for a few nights. During those days, we were 7 adults, a teenage boy and 2 kids and we were very comfortable. My only recommendation to the owners would be to add one bathroom to the upstairs, so that the 2 bedrooms upstairs each has it's own bathroom there. There are 2 full bathrooms downstairs, so it is not a major problem, just would be more comfortable :) Manuel Antonio beach is beautiful, and there is so much to do. There is a surf school right next door, and Karahe hotel is also a few steps away, so you can walk to their restaurant for a quick bite. We have been to Manuel Antonio many times, and my only recommendation would be to avoid going during Easter week if you can. It is probably the most crowded week of the year. Other than that, it was really like being in Paradise. We highly recommend staying at the Discovery Beach house if you want to feel pampered while in Manuel Antonio. Thank you David and Evelyn for sharing your beautiful piece of heaven on earth. We look forward to go back to Paradise soon!

“Dream Wedding Come True: Stunning, Unique, Tranquil, Exciting, Inviting” I was fortunate enough to have my wedding in Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica, and even more extremely fortunate to have it at PDV. I never imagined I would get to have an adventurous beach/jungle wedding, yet get to be in such luxury and tranquility at the same time. PDV allowed me and my guests to feel like we were set directly in nature with the most fabulous connection to beach and jungle, yet get to feel so comfortable, pampered and taken care of by the fabulous staff and amazing accommodations. PDV has it ALL and allows for ANY type of fun, peace, relaxation, partying, natural connection, and more. The best things about it are the views, the luxurious rooms and architecture, the nearby access to beach and jungle, the FABULOUS daily breakfasts, the amazingly nice and helpful staff and the true feeling of happiness and relaxation while you're there! I couldn't have imagined anything more for my wedding and I would 1000% recommend it to anyone wanting to get married or take a family or friend group vacation in Costa Rica! We are absolutely planning to go back in a few years for a reunion trip (and I wish we could go back right now!!!)
