“Seacrest Has Everything For A Family Holiday”

Reviewed 3 Mar 2016

We visited as a party of 7 adults, 3 children and a baby. The house contained everything you would need for a great vacation. It was cleaned to a very high standard and, very importantly for St Ives, offers 3 car parking spaces. Getting to those at the rear of the property can appear a daunting affair but with care it is easily manageable. The house can be used for one large family or can be split into two apartments. The beauty of this if you take the whole house is that you have two kitchens which allows you to prepare food as one large group or two smaller ones. We chose the former and there was plenty of room for us all to sit around the ground floor dining area. Houses with parking tend not to be right in the centre of St Ives. Seacrest is above the town but only a ten minute walk to it and to the beaches. The owners provide some nice touches for guests including a welcome pack of local cider and chocolate. They also provide comprehensive instructions on how to operate the various appliances, something often lacking in rental properties. The house also has a range of games and books for adults and children. We have stayed at a number of large houses in St Ives at this time of year and Seacrest was up there with the best.
