Brand New 1Br. BUNGALO GETAWAY is located 10ft above and 10ft from the RIVER EDGE of the Rocky Broad River. Total REMODEL only the Frame was left Built in the early 1900's now has
Granite Counter Tops, Tile Floors in Kitchen, Bath, Livingroom with Large throw Rug all rooms can be closed off for Privacy with Pocket Doors you have all the Privacy of home. The peacefullness of the River Lulls you to sleep at night.
There is a 16' x 40' Private coverd rear Deck with a Private 6 Person HOT TUB just outside your sliding glass doors with blinds built in the glass doors. Just added a Human Touch FULL Massage chair, Hot Tub then a Massage GREAT. Deck has 2 ceiling fans if needed we usually have a nice River Breeze you just sit back & look 1/4mi. straight up the river, Has a 8' x 8' Sun Deck for soaking up the Sun or just enjoy or the Sandy Beach just 10' below your Deck at the River edge.
At the River edge there is a spot for a small Bon Fire ask about details. There is Wi/Fi for those who would like to use it at NO CHARGE. If you just need a ROMANTIC GETAWAY, we have the place for you. The Queen size bed features a new Tempur Pedic mattress, in the Livingroom Has couch you sit back and relax or watch a new 32" HD VIZIO FLAT SCREEN TV,
or if you feel the need for some exercise after sitting on the rear Deck having Lunch or Dinner on the BISTRO TABLE on the rear Deck.
Just steps down to the River makes for a good time for swimming or fishing or Rock Hopping. The Kids love doing Rock Art on the large river boulders.
Trout fishing is a lot of fun with a River Stocking once a week only 1/8th mi. Upstream & 1/10th mi. Downstream you are sure to enjoy throwing your line out to see what you pull in. Sit and relax by reading a book or just sit on the rear Deck and watch the Wildlife we have BATS the Real Bat Cave is only 1/2 mi. down the road Otter, Mink, Muskrat, Herring, Ducks, White Squrril, Humming Birds along with a variety of of other Birds.A Black Bear has been spotted just behind rear deck June 1st 2020.
At Night we have 2 sets of FLOOD LIGHTS extended out to shine on the River cant have
FULL MOONS all the time ( Illegal to Fish at Night ) We are in a small town of about 500 people
NO RED LIGHTS & Few STOP Signs Laid Back & we love it!
But we are like Route 66 this was the only road between Charlotte & Asheville till they brought the Interstate Highways in it was the old Traders Route for Indians & Wagon Trains & Pony Express Mail
there is so much History in the area only thing changed Pavement & 2 Lane Roads, 4 lane is 12 mi. away.
We are set in the middle of the Western NC. Mountains with so much surrounding us in all directions.
2mi. Chimney Rock Park, Vintage Stores & 1st class Restaurants, 3mi. Lake Lure in the TOP 5 most
Beautiful Lakes in the US. by National Geographic Magazine, 12mi. Historic Hendersonville,
18mi. Black Mountain, 12mi. Old Fort, 22mi. Asheville (The Biltmore House)
The area is Great for Motorcycles curvy up & down Mountain roads we both ride Hondas we circled the US. & BC. in 1999 took 3 months & 28,000 miles. It was a Trip that we will never forget and met some of the nicest people that have become life long friends that is also why we enjoy doing the Vacation Rentals so much it really is a small world.

A little Bat Cave NC history!
One of Hickory Nut Gorge’s wonders is Bat Cave Preserve, owned and managed by The Nature Conservancy since 1981. The preserve is home to the largest augen gneiss granite fissure cave in the world. The granite of these caves was formed over 500 million years ago. The cave provides habitat for rare bats, salamanders, and spiders.

My instructions ask for you to let me know a few days in advance Approx Just a guess? on arrival time, Never got that? I am not a big stickler about having to check in before taking possession of property. They did not call when they arrived because SHE SAID SHE HAD NO CELL COVERAGE? But had cell coverage the next morning SHE SAID? It has a PELLA SLIDING GLASS DOOR, WITH BLINDS BETWEEN THE GLASS! May not have felt safe if you are from Miami FL. Bat Cave has 300 people in a 6 mile radius.They had spent the night and wanted me to come over because (she had a BAD knee) & did not like the steps going down to the deck. My directions even say from lock box TURN AROUND & take steps down to deck ! SHE NEVER SAID ANYTHING ABOUT SHEETS OR TOWELS? HE WAS TAKING A SHOWER WHILE I WAS TALKING TO HER. My girl uses dryer sheet's in every wash! She wanted to find some place else to stay, Said I didn't say there are steps going down to deck.( I WENT BACK & LOOKED AT FLIPKEY DESCRIPTION & SAID LOOK AT PICTURE # 17 OF 35 SAY'S STEPS GOING DOWN TO DECK ON THE CAPTION. IT DOES NOT SAY HANDICAPPE ACCESSIBLE. I told her I would give refund when I rented it. My girl would be there to clean at 10:30am. I had someone that called & wanted to rent it the next day for all there other days. I called my cleaning girl she said the car was gone. I ran over there only a mile away. There were MY TOWELS on the back deck and their stuff was still there. It had not been cleaned could not rent it out! Same thing the next day had someone that wanted to rent & they were still there. Sorry they had a bad experience, I tried to accommodate them, But they never moved out so I could rent to someone else. Sorry she felt she had a bad experience. Even I was surprised they were there and working in 1 Hr.* THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE IN LOCAL OWNER OPERATED RENTALS!
