Description
The Forge was a working forge (pre-l950) before being converted into a home. The holiday cottage is self-contained, has lots of character and is attached to the owner's home. On the ground floor is a kitchen/diner with a television, tiled floor and paddle staircase leading to the bedroom/sitting area. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, fridge with frozen food compartment and microwave. Use of washing machine and dryer is available in the owner's adjoining garage. Also on the ground floor is a shower room with good sized shower, wash basin, toilet and heated towel rail. On the first floor there is a double bed and a comfortable sitting area where you can relax and enjoy the view. The cottage is heated by oil-fired central heating. At the rear of the property is a private patio which overlooks the fields and the sea. Bed linen and electricity are included in the rental. There is off-road parking for one car.
During the winter months we are happy to take short breaks - minimum of 3 days.

Excellent cottage very clean in a quiet area had everything you needed like being from home to home great location amazing views of the sea from the cottage owners gave us a warm welcome and only down the road from the lizard 100% would recommend

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
Occasionally, you will pay a damage deposit up front as part of the total rental cost. In this case, the owner has 10 days after you check out to report any damage. If they don’t, we’ll return your deposit. If their claim is successful, we’ll deduct the agreed cost and return the remainder.

If Ann (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
