Description

Welcome To Strathglass Cottage!

Strathglass Cottage is a charming self-catering cottage accommodation nestled amongst some of the most stunning scenery the Highlands of Scotland has to offer. Glen Strathfarrar, Glen Cannich and Glen Affric are just few minutes drive away and the Cottage is situated only twenty miles from Loch Ness, Inverness and Drumnadrochit.

Strathglass Cottage itself is newly built to a very high standard with solid oak floors throughout, fitted kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, built-in cooker with ceramic hob, fridge freezer, toaster and kettle. The ample sized lounge has a TV with freesat, comfortable seating, a CD player and a radio. There are two bedrooms, one bedroom has a double bed and the other has twin beds. To the front is an enclosed patio area and to the back another enclosed patio with a small grassed area. The garden area is perfectly secure and ideal for dogs as Strathglass Cottage is pet friendly. The cottage is perfect for a romantic retreat, or as a base for touring the rest of the Highlands and Islands, including the stunning West Coast and Skye which are both within reach. Strathglass Cottage makes the perfect base for exploring the Munros.

Strathglass Cottage is a contemporary oak floored Cottage with two bedrooms, a double at the rear looking up the hill into the pine forest and a twin looking out across the glen to the River Glass and beyond. Both rooms are light and airy with comfortable beds.

“Perfect Christmas”

Reviewed 29 Dec 2017

We stayed at strathglass cottage for 5 days over Christmas and what a Christmas it was. When we arrived Brian and Lesley greeted us very warmly, showed us around the cottage and how things worked. But assured us they were around if we needed anything. The stay was perfect in every way, the only thing to let us down was the weather, we hoped for snow and told the children as we were so far North it was more likely. How wrong we were. It snowed more back home in Gloucestershire then there. But we didn’t care, at least it still meant we could explore. Brian gave us some tips on where to walk the dog, the scenery was beautiful we didn’t want to come home. I’m sure we will visit again.
