Il Pozzo e l'Ulivo (the water well and the olive tree) is located in a very quiet area of Catania, about 3.5 km from the crowded city center. Here you can enjoy the relaxing athmosphere of a typical Sicilian country house, or you can take a 10 minutes subway metro ride to Catania city center.

We are delighted to offer you a stunning 2-bedrooms apartment that can sleep up to five people. Both bedrooms are each provided with private bathroom and there is a fully equipped kitchen. With free wireless internet, outside is off road parking, and lawned garden with outdoor furniture. Additionally, an external Jacuzzi (2.60x2.05 m) is available from May to September (exceptionally we can make it available even in winter). Just ten minutes from Catania city center.

For its position il Pozzo e l'Ulivo is the ideal startpoint for a number of exciting day trips to discover the beauty of the Sicilian eastern coast. Among the possible day trips we list Riviera dei Ciclopi (10 km), Etna (25 km), Taormina (50 km) and Siracusa (65 km).


From the 1st of March 2019 the municipality of Catania has introduced a City Tax of € 2 per person per night (for the first four nights), for all guests aged 16 and over. The property is required to collect the amounts in cash and issue a receipt.

The subway station "San Nullo" is located just 200 meters from the property. It brings you downtown in a few minutes. Trains run every 10 minutes. Also, with the underground Metro you can easily reach the main train and bus station to take a train or a bus to visit the whole Sicily.
