Description
The Byre is one of three barn conversion properties, at Hopsland .The Barn is situated 150 yrds from open moorland, in a very peaceful secluded area of outstanding natural beauty.They offer reverse occupation to maximize the beautiful views over the roof tops of the nearby village of Commonmoor. A recent addition of a wildlife pond in the field adjacent to the barn adds to the ambiance.
The other 2 barns sleep up to 4.

“Tranquil and relaxing”
It is nicely located for visiting all the sights in Cornwall. The accommodation itself was very clean with all the facilities needed; the surrounding field gave the whole stay a very tranquil and relaxing feel. Worth the long drive!

“Wonderful senene abode”
The Byre was an absolute delight. The pictures on the Holiday Setting website do not do full justice to its beautifully pleasing and soothing set up.Situated in beautiful rural surroundings with lush green grasslands, farm animals and magnificent trees, the Byre is a perfect place to return to relax and rejuvanet after a long busy day. Linda was always happy and helpful in resolving our querries and attending to requests. Kitchen facilities are excellent and we could easily cook dinners for 6 adults. Mobile reception is a luxury though due to its remote location but wifi is available in certian areas. We actually enjoyed being disconnected from outer world, for a change. We will highly recommend the Byre and wish to return here for our next visit. Thank you very much, Linda! Kulkarni Family

“Excellent accommodation”
The standard of the accommodation was excellent, very comfortable, en-suite in every room. I had two of my grandchildren with me, there were plenty of games and DVDs for them to play with and watch. The location was perfect and very central for all our trips out. Will definitely book again!

Response from the owner Ian and family telephoned prior to their arrival to ask if they could store their trailer earlier in the day before check in. Of course that was possible. Luckily for them the cottage was almost finished, and ian and family were able to move in, They wrote lovely comments inthe visitors book ,and when seeing them in the week it was obvious they were having a great time. The family left the cottage so clean and tidy, it was hard to imagine that they had spent the week there. Welcome to return anytime. What a pleasure to host.
