Description
The cottage is in an excellent location to stay to enjoy many of the brilliant festivals that Kendal has to offer, it is in walking distance from the town, yet situated in Greenside a beautiful picturesque area of Kendal, and as described by our guests an ideal base to explore the Lakes. Greenside has a relaxed village feel with its own pub, The Riflemans. The cottage overlooks the village green and consists of a cosy sitting room with log burner, ideal for relaxing in front of after a long walk, TV/DVD SKY and wifi, kitchen/dining room equipped with an electric built-in oven, fridge, microwave, there is also a WC on ground floor, double bedroom and bathroom/wc on first floor. Additionally, the property benefits from an exterior porch and utility room with washing machine this space also provides secure storage space for walking boots, bikes or golf clubs.
The cottage is easily reached from the M6 motorway.

“Cosy, warm cottage”
This is a lovely little cottage, so warm and cosy with many nice personal touches! Perfect for couples going on holiday for the first time together, just like ourselves! A perfect spot with easy access to many attractions in the Lake District. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we felt completely at home there. Highly recommend!!

“Delighted with the cottage, an excellent base for exploring the Lake District”
Situated close to Kendal town centre but in a quiet residential area with a lovely view over the green. The cottage was really well presented, immaculately clean, decorated and equipped to a high standard, warm and very comfortable. Christine, the owner, was friendly and helpful and left excellent information for our stay.
