Description

Crandy Nook, built in 1891 of traditional lakeland stone, is a fabulous 4-bedroom maisonette converted to an exceptional standard. Both bathrooms, have walk-in showers and heated towel rails as well as three piece suites. The kitchen is completed to a high standard with integrated appliances (fridge and dishwasher), an induction hob, granite work surfaces and slate floor. There is a wall mounted Samsung 49" flatscreen Smart TV (has the BBC iPlayer, Netflix and Amazon Prime apps, please remember to bring your own login details (and do remember to log out!)).

Crandy Nook continues to enjoy Visit England 4* (annually assessed, last in March 2023) and 5* TripAdvisor ratings (19 reviews). The accommodation is offered for the following breaks, Friday-Friday, Friday-Monday, Monday-Friday and Monday-Monday.

Located in the centre of Keswick, Crandy Nook is just a couple of minutes from

- Moot Hall (tourist information), where many of the local walks start.

Keswick's bus station is next to Booths supermarket, about a third of a mile from the accommodation.

Ahead of your visit to Keswick we will send you an information pack detailing property directions, parking, access, wifi, how things work, things to do etc. We are more than happy to provide suggestions for walks and places to visit so please do not hesitate to ask. We are currently working our way through the Wainwrights, 148 of the 214 as at Feb24, which has opened up a whole new world in the Lake District adventure playground. Local agents help us manage the property.

“Great location and accommodation”

We had a great stay at the location. Despite having an issue with the lock Antony could not have done enough for us and got the issue resolved quickly. We then continued to have a great time. The location was perfect with local walks, places to drink/eat and shops. The beds were very comfortable and the accommodation was very clean. Overall we had a great stay and Antony was a wonderful host.

Great apartment with plenty of space for 6 adults and in a good location - only a minute or two to bars and restaurants in the centre of Keswick. Everything was immaculately clean on arrival which was reassuring in the current situation too. A well equipped and modern kitchen/living area on the top floor, perfect for socialising. On the whole, a brilliant place to stay and wouldn’t hesitate to book again if returning to Keswick in the future. Lorna and Anthony were very understanding when I realised I’d taken the key home with me in my washing bag by accident too, oops!

How do damage deposits work?
