Description from manager
Description
From curling up with a mug of cocoa on the corner sofa to a romantic breakfast in bed, if you’re looking for a cosy Cornish nook to call your own, you’ll find it here.
A former fisherman’s net loft now converted into a two-bed cottage, Bark House is packed with charming features including slate floors and exposed beams. Originally used for drying fishing nets, this inviting bolthole nestles in a pretty side street at the heart of Port Isaac.
Step outside and in moments you’ll be on the quay. Listen to fisherman banter as they haul in their catch. Explore nearby opes and alleyways to find unique independent shops and studios. Tuck into fish fresh off the boats in the local restaurants (including Nathan Outlaw’s place) or buy some to take home. Cornish life encapsulated.
There is no parking at Bark House, you would need to use the Council pay and display car park at the top of the village (approx 10 minutes walk away), tickets are around £45 per week but spaces are not guaranteed - you are able to drive close to the cottage to unload.
