“Good stay”

Reviewed 30 Aug 2022

It was a great stay. Our family loved it. The only thing was its up north & you would need to drive all way down south approx 1 and half hour to reach popular spot like st ives, lands end. If you drive & around for multiple days then its fine.

Response from the owner In response I immediately asked my key holder to visit. She did, they were not there. Then I asked my maintenance man to visit, he did and made an emergency repair. I rang to ask if all was well and the guest would not let me speak at all. When the guest left, takeaway rubbish was everywhere and the door unlocked. I consider I did all I could to put right a small problem that had occurred. I do not know who caused the small problem, the last guest or this one. The problem was not noticed by the previous guests cleaners. I spoke to the previous guests and they did not report any problem. If they had it would have been taken care of. I care very much about my guests and have many 5 star reviews to prove it.

“Perfect place in a perfect location.”

Reviewed 23 Apr 2019

Just enjoyed a very Happy Easter with my family at the lovely, comfortable and very roomy Honipine House. What a pleasant surprise to find this lovely house set on a stunning park with equally stunning views and so well equipped too. There were four of us all adults, Daughter and Granddaughter had the twin room, and grandson had the double room, leaving me to sleep in the very comfortable double sofa bed in the upstairs lounge, to wake up to the amazing views from the room and the very spacious balcony just outside the window. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony, plenty of room and plenty of furniture too. Not forgetting the cleanliness of the place, which was first class. There is a very nice pub/restaurant on the park, where one can enjoy a drink and a meal and the service there is good and very friendly. For those who wish to venture little further, it is only a 20 min drive to Plymouth, and in the other direction the same to the lovely seaside resort of Looe, and Cotehele is well worth a visit only 10 mins away in the car. Honipipe is well placed for so many lovely places, but it is such a nice spot, i cn understand that you may want to remain there and 'chill'! One thing is for sure, we will most certainly be returning later in the year. Thanks for a super break.
