Located in a serene bedroom community of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Groove Stone Getaway is an easy 10 minute drive to the Biltmore House, Downtown Asheville, Mission Hospital, Blue Ridge Parkway, Whole Foods -- and all that eclectic Asheville, and outdoorsy Western North Carolina, offer.
Fully furnished with all utilities included, Groove Stone is a perfect place for remote workers or traveling medical professionals.
Space tailored to maximize relaxing comfort for 2-4 Guests.
You must be at least 25 years of age to book with us. An exception may be provided if, as your host, we honor a request to rent to someone under the age of 25.
We CAN accommodate 1 dog under 50 lbs. on a per request basis.
Groove Stone enjoys beautiful mountain views and fantastic sunsets from the comfort of the large 3-Season room located in a private backyard. With a fireplace in the main living room, you will feel cozy on cool mountain nights. Your living room offers a 40" HD Smart TV with free Netflix, on demand HBO GO, and YouTube access. There is also a DVD player and plenty of DVD's for downtime.
Free high-speed Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the house.
Your kitchen and dining areas are open and bright, including a roomy 6-person dining set. There is plenty of cabinet space, a glass top stove, fridge with ice maker, toaster, coffee maker and dishwasher to help make your stay simple and convenient.
A washer and dryer are located in the hallway leading to the central bath.
The bathroom has a full tub shower and new vanity, towels are provided along with starter shampoo and toilet paper for our Guests.
From the bathroom, you can enter the main bedroom to find a relaxing retreat. A bright and airy room with a Queen size bed, a writing desk and full size closet. This room shares a window to the 3-season room that overlooks the private backyard with mountain views. The second bedroom, located across the hall, also has a Queen size bed and dresser.
The Bonus Room offers a 2-person futon couch/bed for an extra sleeping spot and a large bookshelf full of books and games.
The open room is perfect for playing games or a relaxing read on the couch.
The 3-Season Sunroom is the gem of Groove Stone Getaway.
Surrounded by 6 sliding glass doors, and an open ceiling with a ceiling fan, Groove Stone's sunroom offers a true retreat.
Enjoy breakfast in the mornings while the sun creeps up over the mountains and dinner in the evening as the sun drops, leaving beautiful sunsets in its wake.
Groove Stone offers parking for two vehicles in a private drive.

“Perfect pet friendly getaway in the mountains”
The location can't be beat, it was close to downtown, Biltmore, Grove Park Inn and numerous hiking trails of all levels. I even saw a little wildlife within a couple of hours of arriving when a black bear emerged from the neighbor's backyard! He/she appeared to be harmless, but we kept our distance. The yard was fenced in, making it perfect to let my small dog outside in the early morning or late evening hours. It was like a cabin in the woods, although it was in an older subdivision. Definitely would recommend it. I was looking for a little relief from the Florida heat and I found it!
