This semi-detached cottage on a working livestock farm in Cockley Beck near Seathwaite sleeps two people.Cockley Beck Cottage is a semi-detached cottage on a working livestock farm in a rural setting in Cockley Beck, four miles from Seathwaite. The cottage is single-storey set over the ground floor, and has a double bedroom, a bathroom and an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and sitting area with woodburning stove. Outside is off road parking, bike storage and a garden with furniture. Cockley Beck Cottage has walks from the door, and makes a beautiful and remote base for enjoying this lovely spot.

Amenities: Electric central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV with FreeSat, DVD, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent, additional fuel available to purchase from owner. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Ample off road parking. Bike storage. Orchard garden with lawned area, patio and furniture. Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 8 miles, pub 4 miles. Stream 30 secs walk. Note: No infants or children. Note: No mobile phone reception. Note: Due to location, WiFi connection is variable and bandwidth very limited.

Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Town: Broughton-in-Furness is situated in the south western corner of the Lake District and is just six miles from Coniston Water. The village offers a cobbled square, shops and pubs. From Broughton-in-Furness walking and climbing can be enjoyed, plus the Furness railway line runs from nearby Foxfield and makes for an ideal day out.
