“Quiet week away”
A great cottage, clean and very comfortable. Everything we needed was there. Ainstable is a good location in easy reach of the northern lakes, the coast and Hadrians Wall. There are also lots of walks in the area. The pubs at Armasthwaite are both good and the hotel in Ainstable serves delicious food.

“Wonderful cottage in picture perfect Eden valley village”
The cottage is spotless and the beds are very comfortable. It has an extremely well equipped kitchen, great wifi connection and plenty of sockets for charging devices. The village is very quiet but there are plenty of shops and restaurants in nearby villages and it is only a ten mile drive to Penrith or Carlisle for bigger stores. The owners are extremely helpful and provide loads of information on nearby attractions. We had a lovely stay and would recommend Ghyll Foot cottage.
