Description
Relax in our Beautiful Cozy Cottage in the woods with forest setting and only 1 1/2 miles from charming Weaverville where folks come from all over to visit our antique, pottery and art shops. We offer a variety of good restaurants too… pizza to gourmet. Settle in and rest a spell enjoying cool mountain breezes on the antique wicker porch swing or the soothing wicker rocker. After a hike on our lovely property, where you’ll see lots of wildflowers in the spring and gorgeous foliage in the fall, you may want to visit Asheville and the Biltmore, only 20 minutes away. Retreat to your 800 square foot cozy cottage setting with vaulted ceiling and "mood-setting:" electric fireplace in the gorgeous great room. Enjoy the big screen Direct TV and NFL Sunday Ticket and the forest view from this large space. Make s’mores in the beautiful out-door stone fire pit before snuggling in your well-appointed queen bed. A third person will be comfortable in the twin bed on the opposite end of the bedroom. Wake, enjoying the mountain air as it invites you to linger over a cup of coffee. The cottage is fully furnished with nice linens, towels and all amenities you’ll need to make a gourmet breakfast, while enjoying the lovely forest view…or you might wish to try the creperie or gourmet bakery only minutes away. If you want to see the sites, you'll have a long list of activities to choose from with the provided information.
Reasonably priced and uniquely situated in the middle of everything that’s happening in and around Asheville, it’s the perfect get-away for romance or for planning relocation to this area. Immaculately clean and managed by the owners themselves, you will find a complete information packet regarding local restaurants and menus, maps and an array of attractions in this area. Relax and peruse the literature. We want you to have the perfect vacation experience.
And your adventure can start here.
If you are a hiker, there are more waterfalls and trails than you could possibly get to.
If you are a sightseer the Blue Ridge Parkway and Biltmore Estates is for you.
If you are artsy, then visit downtown Asheville and the art district.
If you are a musician, you’ll love our many festivals.
If you are a foody, check out over 100 locally owned restaurants, many farm to table.
Visit Asheville and the Biltmore Estate only 15 minutes away. And, your cottage hide-away is less than 15 minutes’ drive from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Visit Chimney Rock, Mt Pisgah or Mt Mitchell (the highest peak east of the Rockies) all close by. So much to see and do; you’ll think you’re on cloud nine and you might be as we are in the heart of the Smokies!
