This detached cottage is in the hamlet of Torver in the Lake District and sleeps ten people in four bedrooms.Braeside is a detached cottage in the hamlet of Torver, two miles from Coniston in the Lake District. The cottage sleeps ten people in four bedrooms which are made up of a ground floor king-size double, a ground floor adult bunks and two second floor family rooms with one double and one single room. There are also two bathrooms, a cloakroom, a first floor kitchen, a first floor utility and a first floor sitting room with a dining area and a woodburning stove. Outside there is off road parking for two cars, roadside parking for an additional two cars and a tiered garden with a decked area, furniture and a BBQ. Braeside is in an ideal, tranquil spot close to local amenities.
Amenities: Oil central heating with woodburning stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and freezer compartment, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, radio, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 cars, roadside parking for 2 cars. Lockable bike storage. Tiered garden with decked area and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Note: There are steps in the garden. Excellent walking, mountain biking, climbing and watersports opportunities are available locally on Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam and the lovely woodland trails at Grizedale Forest.
