This lovely terraced cottage in Windermere sleeps six people in three bedrooms.Fisher's Retreat is a delightful terraced cottage in Windermere. This cottage sleeps six people and has three bedrooms, consisting of a ground floor king-size double, a ground floor double and a first floor twin. The cottage also has on the lower ground floor a kitchen, a dining room with gas fire and a sitting room, along with a ground floor bathroom and a lower ground floor shower room. Outside there's roadside parking with a permit for one car and an enclosed courtyard with furniture. Fisher's Retreat is a convenient base all year round.
Note: One well-behaved dog welcome at a charge of £12 per stay.
Amenities: Gas central heating with gas fire. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, Dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, Bluetooth speaker, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair. Roadside parking for 1 car (permit provided). Enclosed courtyard with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome at a additional cost of £12. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 5 mins walk, pub 2 mins walk. Note: Twin bedroom is accessed via a spiral staircase, not suitable for young children or those with limited mobility. Please note: This property only accepts a minimum stay of 3 nights. Please note: This property only accepts any week long booking to commence on a Friday. Note: WiFi can be intermittent. Note: Guests will be charged £50 if the parking permit is lost during stay, due to reimbursement costs to owner for future guests
Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.
Town: Providing a range of amenities, shops and restaurants to suit all tastes, the twin towns of Bowness and Windermere have an enduring appeal for many visitors to the Lake District. Boat trips are available from vibrant Bowness to Ambleside, as well as to the Lakeside Aquarium and Beatrix Potter's 'Hill Top House' at Sawrey. Nearby is Grizedale Forest Park which offers good walks, mountain biking and the 'Go Ape' adventure playground, whilst for those who aren't keen on 'monkeying around' the National Trust care for a number of properties in the area. There are also a variety of water sports available across the many beaches. Children may enjoy a visit the "World of Beatrix Potter" in Bowness, which brings famous characters to life using animatronic technology. Also within easy reach are destinations such as Grasmere, Coniston Water, Kendal, Keswick and the Lakeland Mountains.

“Excellent Location”
Great location, house does the job for a week in the Lake District. Quite often had to park a few streets away which can be annoying when you want to pack and unpack the car with Kayaks etc.

Location excellent , right near to all amenities ! Basic bedrooms and kitchen equipment , outside small courtyard could do with some TLC ! Steep steps for elderly dad into the property . All in all… More
