Description

The Silver House is the ideal base for a relaxing holiday in one of the most unspoilt corners of England at any time of year. You can stroll down to the nearby beaches, browse the galleries and gift shops of Marazion, or explore nearby St Ives, Penzance, Mousehole and everything the wonderful Land's End peninsula has to offer. Or you can simply stay at home, snuggle up with a book and enjoy the wonderful sea view.

The cottage has been planned to make your holiday as comfortable as possible; it is spacious but feels cosy, and has a touch of contemporary style. It is well-equipped, with luxurious touches, such as white cotton bed linen and fluffy white towels, as well as wifi broadband. The Silver House has its own private parking space located 300m away.

We recently added a cute little patio outside the back door, with bistro table and chairs. You can catch the morning sun and look through the house to the sea!

Please note that the changeover day is Saturday.

“very lovely place”

we liked the location . However we could suggest that tenants are warned . Very dark lane from car park up to road and no street light Take a torch or please provide a torch . Bathroom heater broken Shower head broken Hot water situation not good enough for a house at this price . Hardly enough water for a bath . These things did not prevent us from having a good time . But need to be fixed . Some decorating needed soon as well . Love Ruth Watts

Our housekeepers pride themselves on taking great care – indeed our guests go out of their way to tell us how immaculate the house is (as the Visitor's Book will testify). “The ideal home away from home”

We spend a wonderful week in the Silver House. Our two little children aged 3 and 5 fell in love with the place, the friendly people, the beaches and the hot choclate in the various cafes we visited. It was a wonderful magical stay even though it rained six days out of seven. We still went to the beaches in the vicinity every day and our children loved collecting sea shells. The view of St. Michael´s Mount never ceased to amaze as did the constant sound of the sea and seagulls. That the pub across the road served a very good pint was a pleasant extra. We will definitely consider coming again.

How do damage deposits work?

You can request to change the dates or number of people on your booking via the Manage your booking page. To change your dates use the Edit booking button. If you need to change the number of guests staying then send Alex and Lucy (the owner) a message.

If Alex and Lucy (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
