Description
This detached stone barn conversion is situated five miles from the village of Blisland near Bodmin and sleeps seven people in three bedrooms.Medlar Tree Cottage is a wonderful detached stone barn conversion situated on the edge of Bodmin Moor and five miles from the village of Blisland. This cottage sleeps seven people in three bedrooms, consisting of one super king-size double with en-suite, a double with en-suite and a family room with three singles, together with a ground floor shower room. The cottage also has a kitchen, a dining room with woodburner, a sitting room and a sun room with infrared sauna. Outside there's off road parking for four cars, a lawned garden, shared use of a BBQ area, furniture and ponds, and private use of a hot tub and outdoor swimming pool. Medlar Tree Cottage is an excellent family base.
Amenities: Electric underfloor heating on ground floor with electric radiators on first floor and woodburner. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with BT TV, DVD, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair. Off road parking for 4 cars. Lawned garden with shared use of BBQ area, furniture and ponds. Private use of outdoor hot tub and outdoor swimming pool (available April to October) heated by solar panels, plus patio with loungers. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Shop and pub 4.5 miles. Note: Sloping ceilings in bedrooms and en-suites. Note: Unfenced ponds in grounds, children and pets must be supervised at all times. Note: The on-site facilities are available for use at your own risk. Note: The swimming pool is heated from May to September (May also be heated in April and October depending if the weather is clement) and is unheated in from November to March.
Region: Cornwalls visitors are constantly tempted back to the beautiful coastline, tiny fishing villages, hidden coves and the world-class surfing. Whatever the reason, Cornwall has long cemented its place as one of Britains premier holiday destinations.
Town: The village of Blisland is situated on the edge of Bodmin Moor. The village has a village green surrounded by trees, old houses and cottages and the famous and award-winning Blisland Inn. Blisland is also located less than three miles from the A30, and so provides an ideal central location for touring Cornwall.
