This glorious semi-detached cottage is in the village of Broughton-in-Furness in Cumbria and can sleep six people in three bedrooms.Duddon Cottage is a glorious semi-detached cottage in the village of Broughton-in-Furness in Cumbria. The cottage can sleep six people in three king-size double bedrooms, (one with en-suite facilities) as well as a family bathroom. The cottage also contains a kitchen and utility as well as a dining room and sitting room with a woodburner. To the outside of the property is ample off road parking and an enclosed lawned garden with furniture and barbecue.Located in stunning countryside, Duddon Cottage is a lovely cottage suitable for a great holiday at any time of the year.

Amenities: Gas central heating with woodburner. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, 2 x TVs with Freeview, DVD, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Ample off road parking. Secure bike storage. Enclosed lawned garden with furniture and BBQ. One well-behaved pet welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 1.5 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: One step from kitchen to hall. Note: Doorways are low due to historic age of cottage and there are four steep steps with lower ceiling to the en-suite bathroom. Note: Some road noise may be heard outside the front of property. Note: There is a fenced off shallow brook at the bottom of the garden, children should be supervised. Note: This property has a 4pm check in

Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.

Town: Broughton-in-Furness is situated in the south western corner of the Lake District and is just six miles from Coniston Water. There is much to do for the visitor such as a pretty, cobbled square, enclosed by shops and pubs, Georgian in origin. The village provides an ideal base for a walking or climbing holiday, with ample opportunity to explore the rugged beauty of the Duddon Valley. Norman Nicholson and William Wordsworth, both immortalised this area in their writing and poetry.

Everything you need to visit that area of lakes. Bit out of the way and on a busy road. Quirky cottage, fenced off back garden with parking. Could do with a bit of tlc .
