This character semi-detached cottage is in the village of Grizebeck near Kirkby-in-Furness on the border of the Lake District National Park and can sleep eleven people in five bedrooms.Bank End Barn is a character semi-detached cottage situated in the village of Grizebeck near Kirkby in Furness on the border of the Lake District National Park. The cottage can sleep eleven people in five bedrooms, which are made up of two king-size doubles, one being on the lower ground floor, one lower ground double, one twin and a family room with three singles as well as a family bathroom and two lower ground floor shower rooms. The remainder of the cottage is made up of a kitchen with dining area, a lower ground floor utility and a sitting room with electric fire. To the outside is parking and an enclosed lawned garden with patio, hot tub and furniture. Set in stunning countryside, Bank End Barn is a superb place to enjoy a good holiday at any time of the year. Note: Please be advised that from February 2024 there will be major roads works nearby the property as a new carriageway is being built, this will be visual from the property and there will be associated noise.
Amenities: Electric night storage heaters with panel heaters in bedrooms and electric fire. Electric range with oven and hob, microwave, American style fridge/freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, 3 x TVs with Freeview. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 4 cars. Note: There is no Electric Car charging facility available at this property. Enclosed lawned garden with patio, hot tub and furniture. Two Cot/Highchairs available on request. Three well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Basic welcome pack provided including tea, coffee and sugar, one toilet roll per toilet, hand soap per toilet, two dishing washing tablets and washing up liquid, two tea towels and two hand towels for the kitchen. Shop and pub 6 mins walk. This property has a GHB of £150. First dog is free, additional dogs £25 each.
Region: Impressive mountains, open fells and clear-water lakes, the Lake District has it all. From walking in the mountains to exhilarating watersports or just a gentle cruise on a steam-powered yacht, Cumbria is the perfect holiday destination.
Town: Grizebeck is set in the Lake District National Park with spectacular views of the Duddon Estuary, Furness Fells and the Coniston mountains. Grizebeck is set in pretty countryside and superb for those wanting to spend some time away from it all. In the village there are plenty of shops and pubs serving local brews. The River Duddon runs just to the east of the village, its estuary offering some lovely scenes. A few minutes drive takes you to the village of Kirkby-in-Furness which is home to a general store and a pub as well as a railway station.
