Description from owner
Description
Falstaff House is a fantastic Grade II listed late Georgian cottage in central Alnwick, a new addition to our other two Alnwick cottages, the very popular Peaseblossom House and Juliet Cottage.
This beautiful cottage boasts two pretty bedrooms and two stylish bathrooms, a private patio, a gorgeous kitchen and a characterful living room with stove.
During these difficult Coronavirus times, we have relaxed our cancellation policies, you can cancel with a 100% refund up to two weeks before your holiday.
The larger second bedroom has a kingsize bed and its own ensuite bathroom and the second bedroom has sweet twin beds with the family bathroom just along the short passage.
The cottage has its original shutters and lots of other original quirky features.
The beach is four miles away and the shops, tea rooms, cafes and pubs of Alnwick are less than 5 minutes away on foot.
Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Gardens and Barter Books are ll within an easy ten minute walk at most.
Please note that we have a 3 night minimum booking and we give a big reduction for weekly bookings outside school summer holidays, and so please check that you have had that price reduction and if it hasn't been deducted, please get in touch.
We hope you have a fab time in our lovely Falstaff House.

“first class cottage”
Due to querky stairs and steps this is not suitable for OAP`s and /or disabled persons other wise it is charming tho` parking can be difficult

Response from the owner Thank you so much for describing the cottage as "First Class". But what a shame that you didn't like the stairs, although they are quite ordinary stairs with a hand rail. And parking isn't a problem at Falstaff House, I wonder why you found it difficult, maybe you are used to parking in your own drive, whereas there is only "on street" parking at Falstaff House? Thank you for taking the time to file a review though, it is much appreciated!
