A sheperd's hut based in the town of Haltwhistle in Northumberland, it can sleep three people in one bedroom.Joseph's Hide is a sheperd's hut located in the market town of Haltwhistle in Northumberland. It has studio accommodation with a triple bunk bed, there is also a shower room, it can sleep three people. Also inside there is open plan studio accommodation with a kitchenette, dining area and a sitting area with a woodburning stove. Outside there is off road parking for one car and a decking with furniture. Joseph's Hide is a quirky little property in a lovely location for a peaceful getaway.

Amenities: Heating from woodburning stove only. Electric 2 ring hob, fridge, TV with Freeview, WiFi. Fuel, power and starter pack for stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car. Decked area with furniture. One well-behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 8 mins walk. Note: Triple bunk is in open plan living space and accessed from one side only. Note: Property accessed via four open-tread stairs. Note: Heating is from the woodburning stove only and the only cooking equipment available is a 2 ring hob.

Please note this property accepts 1 well behaved dog of Labrador size or smaller.

Region: Northumberland is a heady combination of fishing villages, market towns, sandy beaches, magnificent castles and historic Hadrians Wall, tied together by beautiful countryside and abundant wildlife.

Town: The small market town of Haltwhistle is a vibrant place, offering a wide range of shops and other amenities. Home to The Black Bull a proper, old fashioned pub, serving quality food and real ale the village is a welcoming place to return to following a day of walking, pony trekking or cycling. With the Pennine Way and other great cycle routes and Bridleways running nearby, it's easy to enjoy this stunning scenery, which boasts dramatic castles, surging rivers and beautiful forests. Those interested in the country's history are sure to enjoy a visit to one of the best preserved stretches of Hadrian's Wall, only a mile north of the village, and with an ongoing dig on the site of Vindolanda, it's easy to get in touch with the nation's past. If history isn't your cup of tea, then there is a regular train and bus service in to Newcastle and Carlisle, meaning that you can leave your car behind and enjoy the nightlife the big cities have to offer.
