DEER HAVEN is only 8 miles from Helen, GA, and Serenity Cellars is just a very short drive down the road. Serenity Cellars is a comfortable & cozy facility that features live music and wine tasting 7 days a week with vineyards on-premise.
Deer Haven is a cozy 3 bedroom 2 bath house with a master bedroom on the main floor with a bathroom accessible outside of the bedroom and two guest rooms upstairs with a shared bath. The stairs going up to the upstairs to the guest bedrooms and downstairs to the game room/laundry/hot tub are a little steep so please use caution and the handrail when going up and downstairs!
A full kitchen with a custom family-style wood dining table awaits you for hosting a great family dinner after a long day in town or on the trails. Gas grill on the main deck and charcoal grill by the fire pit are available please bring charcoal if you plan on using that grill.
Enjoy the hot tub in total privacy. Relax on the screened-in porch or by the fire pit. Smart TVs will give you all the options you need.
Play a game on the old school console game or foosball and try the board games the owner provided for our guests we also have upgraded to an arcade game and outdoor ping pong on the hot tub screened porch. You will not want to leave this cabin! Don't leave any of your family members behind, so bring your loved pets and enjoy a stay together, there is a flat spot out to the side of the cabin to walk your dog or across the street from the cabin there is another street to walk down to stretch their legs!
If you feel like getting out and doing something fun the Bavarian village of Helen is a short drive from the cabin to get to shops, restaurants, seasonal tubing, mountain coaster, axe throwing, escape rooms nad much much more!
Vineyards such as Serenity Cellars, Yonah Mountain Vineyards, Flyhawk Vineyards, Cenita are all a short drive as well from the property!
Tantrum Brewery also is close by for those beer lovers, Live Music, and food trucks almost every weekend! Accommodations:

We are following the protocols laid out by the CDC and using the EPA-approved disinfectants for Hard (non-porous) Surfaces, Soft (Porous) Surfaces, and Electronics. The linens, towels, bedsheets, etc. are washed per the manufacturer's guidelines. We are also emptying the hot tubs, sanitizing, and refilling with freshwater and chemicals after each guest's stay. We look forward to welcoming you to our cabin and hosting your stay.

“A Sad Experience”
I would not stay there again for free. Pitiful! We booked the cabin for ourselves and two other guests. We were embarrassed at the condition of the grounds and the quality of the cabin.

However, we did respond to the cabin several times during your stay to attempt to address the issues you had with the location. The cabin has recently been further renovated and a lot of landscaping has been done. We would love for you to return and try our property again.
