Beautiful A frame home with breathtaking view of the Smoky Mountains. Private, surrounded by natural beauty. Remodeled inside and out. Chabby chic/French Provincial decor. 3 story, 2 1/2 bedroom, 2 bath home. Queen bedroom in loft. Lower level has queen bedroom with adjoining small bathroom. Futon sleeper on main level. Gorgeous wrap around deck with stunning view of the Smoky Mountains. Main level has living room, dining area, kitchen, guest room (futon sleeper) , bathroom, and charming tea room. Unplug and enjoy this outdoor paradise but WiFi also available. Cherokee, Bryson City, Highlands, Cashiers and Asheville are nearby. One lane gravel road 1.2 miles up takes you to this mountain home. Perfect romantic getaway but children are welcome too. Escape to the Mountains!

Response from the owner In response to this review… The house has had extensive renovations In excess of $60,000. The house was newly painted inside and out. There is a brand new roof. There is new flooring in every room Except for one. There are window units that have been replaced in each bedroom that are quiet and do both heat and air. There are also two additional portable units with heat and air in the house for your comfort. We did have a cleaning staff person that was not being thorogh enough in there and she has been replaced so we do not foresee any problems in the future. Both toilet seats in the house are in good condition and are a nice soft cushiony pad. The door to the bathroom has been replaced. We have a new groundskeeper as well. We take a lot of pride in our house and feel that it is in good repair and clean.. Yeah also feel that is an excellent value for $90 per night.

The accommodation is excellent, very beautifully furnished. The road up to the house is very steep and gravel so you do need a SUV vehicle to get up to it (a four wheel drive would be best).

Response from the owner Hi Kristine, we are glad you enjoyed our home. It has been lovingly remodeled and furnished inside and out. It is a typical mountain road, not considered steep by most, especially if you live in the mountains. Most cars have no trouble getting to the home. Our property manager has a small chevy malibu and drives to the house often without a problem. Like driving on gravel anywhere you have to maintain a constant lower speed and not hit the gas too hard. 4 wheel drive is always a plus, but definitely not necessary. Thank you and take care. How do damage deposits work?
