Description

This two-storey lodge is situated near the Cornish village of Boscastle and can sleep six people in three bedrooms.Oaklands is a super riverside lodge sitting with similar styled properties near the Cornish village of Boscastle. The lodge sleeps six people and has one king and one twin room on the first floor. On the ground floor there is a double bedroom, a wet room and open plan living area with kitchen and a sitting area. Outside there is a decking area with seating and off road parking for two cars. Sitting alongside the river with rolling countryside views, Oaklands is an perfect retreat for a family holiday.

Amenities: Electric heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, slimline dishwasher, washer/dryer, TV with Freeview, DVD, iPod/MP3 speakers, WiFi. Power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot available on request *please bring your own bedding*. Highchair available on request. Off road parking, directly in front of the property. Garden decking area with seating. 2 pets welcome at £35 per week per pet. Sorry, no smoking. Shops, pubs and restaurants 3 miles. Beach 5 miles. Note: Tennis racquets and balls for the tennis courts are not provided

Town: A perfect Cornish coastal village, the road through Boscastle runs down to the small harbour at the bottom of the hill. The quaint village shops, local restaurants and pubs offering good food, Cornish real ales and live entertainment by local musicians, make this an ever popular visitor destination. Spectacular cliff tops, rocky coves, wild surf, open fields and rich wildlife characterise this beautiful area. The coastal footpath passes through some of Britains most rugged and spectacular coastal scenery. The sandy beaches of Bossiney, Trebarwith Strand and Crackington Haven are all within 5 miles and the surfing beaches at Bude and Polzeath are within easy driving distance. Close at hand lie the delights of Tintagel, swathed in the legends of King Arthur, several stately homes and renowned gardens, or the wide open space of Bodmin Moor, famous for its granite tors and Daphne Du Mauriers Jamaica Inn.
