This converted barn set on a rural farmstead near Lostwithiel, Cornwall can sleep two people in one bedroom.The Byre is a lovely semi-detached barn conversion, set on a rural farmstead surrounded by countryside, 1 mile from the town of Lostwithiel and close to the harbour town of Fowey. Sleeping 2 adults in one bedroom, with separate shower room, the barn has an open plan living area with kitchen, dining area and seating area with a wood burning stove. Outside there is a patio equipped with furniture and BBQ and communal lawns to enjoy. There is parking for two cars. The Byre is an excellent choice for a couple.
Amenities: Electric central and underfloor heating with open fire. Electric oven and hob, fridge, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, WiFi, iPod dock. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available. Parking for 2 cars. Patio with furniture and BBQ. Communal gardens. Two well behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 1 mile.

The town also boasts a fine collection of country pubs, restaurants and a thriving farmers market. The maritime town of Fowey, popular with sailing enthusiasts is within easy driving distance, as it the popular coastal destinations of Mevagissey and Padstow, with the famous Rick Stein restaurants. Lanhydrock House and gardens is just 3 miles away, while other places to visit include Boconnoc House, and the world famous Eden Project. For days on the beach, the long sandy beaches and dramatic coastline of Newquay and the Atlantic coast attract families and surfers year round.
