Set in 14 acres of woodland and mature gardens and in the heart of beautiful north Cumbria, our newly renovated five star cottages combine exceptional quality with character and charm.

The Old Coach House (sleeps 10) is a spectacular and sumptuous open plan barn conversion, ideal for larger groups and special occasions. Boasting amazing entertaining spaces and packed with contemporary luxuries to make your stay memorable and relaxing.

Large open plan kitchen/dining/lounge ideal for entertaining large groups. The kitchen is fully stocked with two ovens, large fridge and wine cooler. Tucked away in the utility room are microwave, freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.

The snug is a great place to relax and unwind with a good book and the games room with pool table and retro games console is fantastic for keeping the kids entertained.

All bedrooms described as twin (two single) can be configured as super king size doubles.

The market town of Brampton is a short walk from the cottage. Here you'll find restaurants and pubs, award winning butchers, Cranston's Food Hall and a Patisserie. You'll also find many walking and cycling routes straight from the door and easy access to Hadrian's Wall, the North Lake District, Carlisle and Northumberland.

Good communications by road, train and air. Junction 43 and 44 of the M6 are just 10 minutes by car. There is a comprehensive bus service to Carlisle and Newcastle. Newcastle International Airport is a mere 45 minutes by car.

“Enjoyable week in a lovely house”

We were an extended family group of ten, and we all had a very enjoyable week away. The house was very spacious, restored to a high standard and had everything we needed. The location was great with a short walk to Brampton and plenty of places to visit. Although the weather was a bit wet at times, we still were able to get out and enjoyed exploring and walking. It was a much needed family get together. Emma was very helpful and responsive with questions before our stay. Many thanks and would have no hesitation in recommending this lovely property.

“Beautiful big cottage in a lovely area”

We absolutely adored this place and had the best holiday - the cottage was so big and roomy, really tastefully decorated, plenty of indoor room options and outside space too. Emma was a really attentive and helpful host, and the place was immaculate. We were lucky with the weather too which meant we got to take advantage of all the great walking opportunities in the surrounding area. Can’t recommend enough.

“Super, spacious house”

I booked the house ages ago for a family holiday. Was not sure if we would be able to travel due to lock down. Happily the rules had been relaxed enough to allow us all to spend time together for the first time in ages so we really enjoyed our week. The house was large enough to allow the children space to play both inside and outside. The house was immaculately clean with sanitation liquids in all rooms, so no worries about coronavirus infection. All in all the accommodation couldn’t have been better I would recommend this to family and friends.
