Description

Coastguard House is part of an iconic terrace overlooking Porthminster Beach.  Sleeping eight, with stunning uninterrupted views across St Ives Bay to Godrevy Lighthouse. The Harbour, shops, restaurants, galleries and Tate St Ives are only a short walk away. On-site parking for two cars makes this the perfect family getaway.

This beautiful four bedroom Victorian house has been renovated to provide spacious comfortable accommodation. And the views… are simply amazing.

Situated off Treloyhan Avenue it is reached by a private lane with little or no traffic.

The kitchen/diner is well equipped with gas hob, double oven, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. The large eight place dining table is perfect for the family get together.

The lovely light and airy dual aspect lounge, with original floorboards, provides plenty of seating consisting of three large sofas and window seating. It has a large over mantle wall mounted TV with DVD and PS Games Console. There is also a gas fire for those long winter evenings.

Coastguard House has four good size bedrooms.  Located on the first floor, the master bedroom has a superking bed with en-suite and views across the bay (for those who have to work, a desk is included with fantastic views). Two further bedrooms with twin bed are also located on this floor. There is a double bedroom with ensuite on the ground floor.

There is an additional family wet room on the first floor and a separate WC on the ground floor.

The enclosed courtyard is great for alfresco dining with table, chairs and BBQ.

There is a large shower room – perfect for rinsing those sandy toes and hanging up your wetsuits.

A large laundry room is fitted with washing machine, tumble dryer, a butler’s sink and plenty of space to air clothes with a traditional pull down airer.

Getting around

There are many attractions in St Ives that can be reached on foot. These include: The Tate The Barbara Hepworth Museum The South West Coast Path. All the beaches are within easy reach. A car will allow you to explore West Cornwall and the following are all within a few miles: Land's End The Minnack Theatre The St Just Mining World Heritage Site St Michael's Mount There are numerous gardens in the locality including The Lost Gardens of Heligan and The Eden Project. Local bus services can be used to visit many of the attractions.

Unfortunately we cannot include the code here as it changes regularly. We are based in St Ives and are available at any time if you have a problem.

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
