NESTLED ON THE FELL SIDE ON THE OUTSKIRTS OF STAVELEY VILLAGE (5 MINS WALK TO THE VILLAGE CENTRE).

PLENTY OF WALKS FROM THE DOOR UP INTO THE SURROUNDING HILLS AND THE KENTMERE VALLEY.

STAVELEY HAS LOTS OF AMENITIES INCLUDING A PUB SERVING GREAT FOOD SEVERAL CAFES,A GROCERY STORE, POST OFFICE, THE FAMOUS MILL YARD WITH THE HAWKESHEAD BREWERY AND WILFS CAFE PLUS A LOVELY ARTISAN BAKERY. A LARGE BIKE SHOP WITH BIKE HIRE -WHEELBASE IS ALSO FOUND HERE .

“Cannot fault this gorgeous cottage”

Apart from being cosy, superbly well equipped, beautifully characterful and super comfy, this cottage is located in a fantastic spot. Everything you might want to do is easily accessible from a walk straight out of your back door to driving 30 mins and scaling the Coniston Old Man. Just around the corner is everything you could possibly want in food, drink and bikes and every day necessities. The neighbours are a great bonus as well, absolutely charming, friendly and really welcoming. We feel we could come back here again and again. We absolutely hit the jackpot with this property. I would definitely recommend although part of me wants to keep it a secret in case it's not available when we want to come next time!

“Fantastic Holiday”

What a great holiday cottage, one of the best we have used over the years. Tastefully decorated and furnished, very comfortable with all our requirements catered for and much more. Lovely location on the edge of Staveley, a village that is both peaceful and vibrant offering many facilities to cater for visitors needs. Beautiful walks available from the cottage, we found that we only used our car on two days of the seven we were there. Good public transport, both trains and buses. Can't fault the cottage or the location for exploring the Lakes and all they have to offer.
