Welcome to Hale Keani (House of Gentle Breezes)!

Imagine relaxing in your very own pool, listening to the quiet hum of the distant surf, watching the perfect sunset. All that and more can be enjoyed in this gorgeous home in a private, gated community.

Welcome to Keahou Estates, a private gated subdivision about 300 feet above the beautiful coastline, where the surf’s whisper greets you upon wakening and lullabies you to sleep at night. We are just around the corner from several restaurants, a grocery and a drug store, plus a movie theatre; the snorkel beach is less than a mile down the road; and downtown Kona is a short five- to seven-minute drive. Our home is nestled near the end of a cul-de-sac with lush landscaping on either side for maximum privacy—you won’t even know you have neighbors! We sit well above the houses below, so much so that we can easily boast the best (and dare we say the most romantic) sunset view in the entire neighborhood.

Our home is in like-new condition and professionally decorated. You are going to love the modern furnishings as well as the travertine flooring throughout. Each of the four bedrooms has its own marble-tiled, full bathroom, as well as its own television, DVD player, and private lanai. The master also includes a whirlpool tub and an additional outdoor shower (don’t knock it ‘til you try it!). Granite countertops and custom cabinets line the open kitchen, which would make any chef happy with its Jenn-Air gas range and Dacor double oven and microwave. For casual dining, four wicker bar stools pull up to the over-sized kitchen island. The distressed teakwood dining table (one of a kind from Indonesia) seats eight. As for the living room, relax in comfort as you enjoy the entertainment of the full HD TV with DVD and surround-sound speakers. Or sit back and listen to the concerto of your choice as it is played for you on the baby grand player piano. Finally, don’t miss the vaulted ceilings that span the entire living space! Open the pocket doors and let the outside in: ours is truly a floor plan that takes advantage of the island breezes.

Because let’s not forget that you’re in Hawaii; you’re going to want to spend most of your time outdoors. We’ve already mentioned the outdoor shower, but feel free to laze away your days in both the saline infinity pool and the heated spa. We’ve got lounge chairs for tanning, cushioned chairs for reading and/or conversation, and Adirondacks for whale-watching--or just daydreaming (coffee, anyone?)! Before you know it, you’ll be enjoying all your meals in our Bali-inspired, covered outdoor dining area--fully equipped with a Weber gas grill, stainless steel sink, Frigidaire refrigerator, Vizio flat screen TV, and cocktail bar. Gather ‘round the antique wagon wheel table from Bali for pupus every night at 6pm sharp: once you’ve experienced our gorgeous sunset, you’ll never want to leave this private island getaway.

Air-conditioning is available at an additional $75/per day, plus tax.
