Nestled within the seven acre private grounds Herdwick is a large 125m2 luxury solid log cabin with 6 adult Hot Tub and stunning fell views. The real log fire and green energy keep you cosy and warm all year round.

3 supersized double bedrooms each with smart TV (with the flexibility to be made into twin singles) and 3 bathrooms (2 en-suite 1 limited mobility accessible), comfortable, stylish individually decorated and uniquely furnished, sleeping your group of 6 adults plus up to 3 children in travel cots, allowing exceptionally spacious self catering accommodation in a perfect rural and mountain side setting in the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Park (newly termed the Westmorland Dales).

Perfect for special occasions, couples and spacious for families and groups of friends, Herdwick log cabin provides exceptional high quality luxury self catering accommodation. A new super WiFi system has just been installed to enable you to stream videos and music via the smart TV's or Bose sound system. The above deck private platinum hot tub provides 5 seats and 1 lounger, massage jets, mood lighting and fountain feature plus integrated sound system perfect to relax and unwind, in addition the outdoor covered deck location is the perfect elevation from which to enjoy unrivalled views of the How Gills and Wild Boar fells beyond.

walking is best, a classic coach service is also a novel and lovely way to see the area, taxis can be booked in advance and a car may be required if you are thinking of travelling out of the area or to collect shopping which is not being delivered. cycling and horse riding are other great ways to see the area and get around

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Jennie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
