This characterful cottage has a hot tub and private parking and is located in the village of Windermere in the Lake District National Park and can sleep five people in three bedrooms (adults must use bottom bunk only).This traditional Lakeland house is located in the village of Windermere in the Lake Distict National Park. The accommodation is set over three floors and has three bedrooms consisting of two double bedrooms with en-suite shower, basin and WC and one ground floor bunk bedroom. Ground floor shower room with shower, basin and WC. Lower ground floor kitchen with dining area. Sitting room. Outside there is a courtyard garden with a private hot tub and private parking.
Amenities: Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher.
Gas central heating.
TV with Freeview.
WiFi.
Fuel and power inc. in rent.
Bed linen and towels included.
Cot and highchair available.
Off road parking for 1 car, on road parking for 1 vehicle using the Parking Permit.
Enclosed patio area with garden furniture and hot tub.
Two well-behaved small dogs allowed.

Response from the manager Thank you for sharing your experience with us. I’m sorry to learn that your stay at Mrs Puddleducks didn’t live up to your expectations. I can see that we sent you an email prior to your stay advising you of the arrangements and location to pick up the keys for the cottage but I’m sorry if this was not immediately clear. With regards to the cleanliness issues you have raised, this is clearly not acceptable and we have provided your feedback to the property owner. I can also see the owner gave a gesture to apologise for this oversight. Unfortunately, as we were not made aware of this during your stay, we were unable to resolve this for you. The disruption to the electricity supply was unavoidable and due to a problem in the local area. Our emergency team did arrange for an engineer to attend the property at the earliest opportunity but you chose to go home rather than stay. I can understand that this was upsetting to you and your family, but it was entirely unforeseen and out of anyone’s control. I would like to assure you that we did try our best to resolve this for you. You do not appear to have discussed the rash you mentioned with any of my colleagues in the Customer Relations team and we were not made aware of any problems with the hot tub, either during or after your stay. If you would like to discuss this further please do not hesitate to get in touch. Kind Regards, Kathy
