Description
The Old Stables sits on the banks of the River Lugg. Situated halfway between Hereford and Leominster, and a short walk away from England's Gate Inn, the Old Stables is an ideal base for exploring the beautiful Herefordshire countryside, its market towns and the City of Hereford itself.
The accommodation briefly comprises: king and twin bedroom; both with ensuite, open plan kitchen, dining and sitting room; Guests at the Old Stables have access to the 'beach' area directly next to the River Lugg where they may fish, paddle or simply relax!
The Old Stables also benefits from: ample off-road parking; free Wi-Fi.
The Forge at Bodenham, consists of four properties, the Smithy, the Granary and the Hayloft, all of which are available to rent on a self-catering basis.

“Lovely place to stay”
The ground level converted stables was very clean and designed well. It is in a lovely setting alongside the River Lugg. The bi fold doors when open brings in the outside. A little hedgehog visited us several nights. We saw ducks, wild rabbits, sheep, a little mouse, squirrels and most surprisingly a snake swimming from one side of the riverbank to the other. It was really good that both bedrooms had their own ensuites. The settee is an unusual shape and we found it quite uncomfortable. Also be aware that the local pubs are all closed on Monday and Tuesday!

“Well appointed accommodation near Hereford”
Quiet location near to Hereford, the Wye Valley and the Black Mountains in Wales. The property is clean, spacious and well decorated with its own private riverside garden area.Communications with the owner, Salma, were always fast. Would recommend to friends.
