Description

Tucked away in a peaceful courtyard, Number 3 Wesley Flats is located right in the heart of St Ives and comes with free off-site parking in a small private garage. Located on the ground and first floor of a tall slate grey cottage, the private entrance leads to the open-plan kitchen/living area with a modern bathroom (full bath and shower) off to the side. The first floor is reached via a spiral staircase which leads to a bright spacious bedroom with a King size bed. I am sorry but the property isn't suitable for a baby or children.

Outside, the raised paved/planted area right in front of the cottage is for the sole use of the guests. It's not completely secluded as there is a pathway that other courtyard neighbours access nearby but there is seating there, amongst the lovely coastal plants and succulents, with a slatted fence for some degree of privacy.

We provide bed linens, bath & hand towels plus bath mat, and for the kitchen we provide tea towels. Some staples will also be available, such as salt & pepper, olive oil, sugar and tea. There's a Nespresso machine and suitable capsules can be bought in the local supermarket, or bring your own favourite Nespresso capsules with you!

The harbour, beaches, galleries, shops, restaurants and cultural points of interest such as the Tate and Barbara Hepworth Sculpture Garden are all within easy reach.

Parking: there is a small lock up private garage available for guests to use at no extra cost. It fits most standard size cars but do get in touch for internal dimensions if you want to check the size in advance. It's up the hill near the St Ives Rugby club (approx 20 minute walk) and there are also numerous St Ives car parks nearby (closest is 4 min walk from property).

Clean. Bright. Cosy. Central. Quiet courtyard setting. Perfect bolthole with high speed wifi.

Getting around

From St Ives, you can get out on some great day trips to explore Cornwall’s beautiful scenery, enjoy attractions like St Michael’s Mount located on a tidal island close to Penzance (our version of the French Mont-Saint-Michel), The Minack Theatre, carved into the cliffs offering atmospheric open air performances, and a wonderful sculpture garden, Tremenheere, up in the hills behind Penzance. Exploring by car makes it easy but there are also numerous buses that you can board from the St Ives bus station. Nearby Zennor is a great spot with a pub called The Tinners Arms and a visit there gives you glimpses of the wild beautiful countryside on the way. There is a visitors centre in the St Ives library with maps and guide books too.
