Getting around

The establishment provides our guests with their own parking space when arrival with a vehicle, in contrast to get around Monteverde without a car is also very simple, their is a bus stop 1 min within walking distance where guests can ride the bus whose complete route is from down town Santa Elena to the Monteverde Reserve and vice versa. Taxi/cabs are also available within walking distance, if not we are more than happy to call one for you. Most tour Companies offer their clients transportation to their facilities free of charge, therefore we will help you plan and book activities in which transportation is provided, meaning that our guests will be picked up at Casa Haydee Monteverde and dropped off where ever in town they like.

We like to interact with our guests so they can feel like home away from home, but we respect their privacy and space so we let them approach to us and that way we can sense how much we should or shouldn't interact with guests.

How do damage deposits work?

If Haydee (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
