Description
Sugnall Hall is, and feels like, a country house. The reception rooms are decorated with oak carving and panelling and with Chinese wallpaper, whilst the bedrooms have been individually redecorated with the help of an interior decorator to retain historic features yet have modern facilities. Eleven of the fourteen bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms: daily housekeeping is offered. The views of the formal gardens, the countryside beyond and distant views of mountains are a particular feature. The gardens are four acres in extent, with a flower garden, orchard, arboretum and spinney, and with many private sitting places. A kitchen garden and extensive walks are on the estate, whilst there are many activities nearby which are listed on the website. There is a self-catering kitchen and a Victorian glazed brick kitchen available for caterers. Continental breakfasts are complementary.
