Response from the manager Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you have not had the holiday you were hoping for. The owner has immediately inspected the property and has been unable to find any mould or damp in the cottage. The property has a high standard of cleanliness, ventillation, insulation and heating. Rather than being situated at the entrance to the property, Coachman's Cottage is in fact situated at the end of a 100 metre drive ,( with a privacy gate halfway down the drive and with woods and gardens on either side, offering seclusion from the B3263 coast road. Traffic on the road upt to the cottage is limited up to 4 cars from the other guests at Halgabron mill, including the owner, who share use of the same driveway. There is a slate patio with seating and flower tubs and a green oak and slate roofed porch that extends from the main stable door entrance of the cottage out towards the edge of the drive. The cottage has adequate lighting including daylight bulbs offering full spectrum light. The cottage is a high standard 3 star Visit England rated cottage.

Response from the manager Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry you have not been happy with your stay at Coachman's. The owner has confirmed the mezzanine floor is reached by the stair ladder, which is properly and safely secured and maintained. The double bed has a very comfortable mattress, accessible from both sides of the bed. The stair ladder and limited headroom in the bedroom are made clear in the description. There are opening windows in the kitchen, lounge and bedroom, with an extractor fitted to the bathroom window. There is internal insulation throughout and 2 night storage heaters, one with a daytime radiant panel/ boost and a woodburning stove, which combine to keep the cottage warm and dry in all seasons.
