Hawaii’s Best Kept Secret: Our cottage is right on the beach, and next door to a mile of deserted beaches, where you’ll discover isolated sandy coves, driftwood, shells, and forested pastures filled with horses. The ocean is excellent for snorkeling and spear fishing; there are two un-crowded surf breaks within one mile, windsurfers are blessed with wind almost every afternoon, and the mountains behind the cottage offer good hiking trails. The Colony has a nice pool, a tennis court, and there is a golf fairway in the middle of the property where you can practice your chipping. Bring your favorite books! Location: This comfortable cottage is located right on the beach, on Oahu’s famous North Shore. Mokuleia is well off the beaten path, in “The Country,” a world away from Waikiki, yet only 35 minutes from the airport! If you want to GOOGLE-EARTH the cottage, type in our address in the search window: 68-615 Farrington Hwy. Waialua, HI 96791. Description: The cottage is best for a couple, but sleeps four. Access to the dressing room and separate full bath is through the bedroom, which can be partitioned off. There is cable TV, Internet Cable (both wireless and wired) , and the kitchen is well equipped. It will have been cleaned just before you arrive and serviced with fresh sheets and towels. No daily maid service is available. Coin laundry machines are next to the manager’s office. There is a private phone for local calls, but long distance must be charged to your card. We are licensed to operate as a short-term vacation rental under State of Hawaii License No: TVA 90/TVU-0108, TMK 1680090010021.

Response from the owner Thank you for your suggestions; 1) The beach usually comes back after winter, but not this year. 2) Cottage is professionally treated for pests every 3 months, next one is July 21. 3) Not enough silverware? It usually disappears slowly, and we usually find it in the neighboring guest cottages! 4) We'll have a new stove as of July 22, and 5) New windows are ordered.
