Footprints Lodge offers the opportunity for an idyllic log cabin holiday in the heart of the English Lake District. Just a short stroll from the shore of Lake Windermere, Footprints Lodge is in a woodland setting but also ideally placed to take advantage of the facilities on offer at White Cross Bay Holiday Park and Marina. (Parkdean Resorts will make a separate charge for use of the indoor Swimming Pool and Gym. Please enquire with Parkdean Resorts about rates and booking availability).
This well-equipped comfortable lodge is decorated to a high standard and offers accommodation to up to six guests and comes with use of its own private outdoor hot tub.
Footprints Lodge is ideally for families or groups of friends looking for a relaxing break at any time of the year. It is perfectly placed to explore all that the Lake District has to offer and is situated two miles from Windermere and two miles from Ambleside.
All linen and tea towels are provided as part of your booking as well as free WiFi. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN TOWELS.
Lovely light and airy triple-aspect lounge opens onto a west-facing deck with hot tub, outdoor furniture, BBQ.
Smart TV with built in DVD player for music CD’s and DVD’s. Netflix account allowing guest to access additional viewing options in addition to the selected Sky and Freeview channels available via the park.
Dining area has an oak table with seating for 6. Plenty of quality cutlery, crockery and glassware is provided, along with plastic items for children or a picnic by the Lake.
Free direct to lodge WiFi.
Fully equipped kitchen with gas oven and hob, integral dishwasher, fridge & freezer, microwave, toaster & kettle, ironing board & iron and vacuum cleaner.
Master bedroom has a double bed with thick mattress topper, fitted wardrobes and drawer space, TV and hair dryer.
Luxury en-suite with large walk-in corner shower, toilet & hand basin with concealed plumbing and toothbrush/shaver electric point.
Two twin bedrooms. Both with fitted wardrobes, drawer space, mirrors and a s hairdryers.
Family bathroom with full-size bath with shower attachment, toilet & hand basin with concealed plumbing and heated towel rail and toothbrush/shaver electric point.
Parking adjacent to the lodge for two cars. Access to the lodge and decking by steps or wide ramped access.
On-site shop which sells newspapers and essentials.
On-site laundry also available.
No smoking inside the lodge.
Footprints Lodge has an up to date Gas Safety Certificate and is fitted with smoke and carbon monoxide alarms. Electrical appliances supplied are also subject to an annual electrical safety test.

“Fantastic relaxed family holiday”
Excellent lodge. Clean and equipped with everything you need. Lovely modern furniture. Felt like home from home. Superb location on site. Would return and recommend.

“Relaxing Break”
This is a lovely Lodge set in a really good location. Everything you need is in the lodge. And having the Hot Tub was great. The on site shop is small but has essentials. Would we return?? YES definitely.

The best lodge setting we’ve ever stayed in. Super luxurious, right close by amenities beautiful surrounding with an amazing hot tub too enjoy we loved every single moment of our stay and hope to book to go back again in the near future. Can not recommend it enough Thankyou
