Description

Located in an exclusive area surrounded by other privately owned properties in a very quite area of White cross Bay Holiday Park and Marina known as Troutbeck and close to a woodland area which is great for dog walking, close to the edge of Lake Windermere itself. No 7 Troutbeck is a TripAdvisor 2020, 2021 and 2022 five star certificate of excellence award winner,, it is very well equipped, centrally heated, cozy and modern six berth static caravan in excellent condition throughout. There is a large screen TV in the lounge with a DVD player. Also in the lounge there is feature fireplace, and a very comfortable corner sofa suite. The whole park has free wi-fi which is provided by White Cross Bay Holiday Park but it can be a bit hit and miss at times and often unreliable but this is out of our control.. The caravan has double patio doors which lead out from the lounge onto the decked balcony where you will find tables and seating for six people. An iron and ironing board is provided, also a high chair and cot for the younger holiday makers. The master bedroom has a comfortable double bed, lots of wardrobe and cupboard space, a tv/dvd and even an en-suite with wc and wash basin. The second bedroom has two single beds, good wardrobe and cupboard storage space and bedroom three has two smaller single beds suitable for children or smaller adults.

There is a second separate family shower room with sink and wc. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you will need including a four ring gas hob, an electric oven, a microwave oven, toaster and kettle, pots and pans and dishes, cutlery etc, in-fact. Fresh bedding ant towels are provided for you. The lodge is centrally heated throughout so perfect for winter and summer breaks. The holiday park has its own entertainment centre, indoor heated swimming pool, Gym and sauna which require a pass to enter. The pass price is a one off payment of between £7.95 (low season) and £9.95 (high season) for adults and £6.95 (high season) and £5.95 (low season) children under three years old are free of charge. Each pass purchased lasts for uo to 7 days.. The pass is optional and can be purchased at the reception office if required. Please note; This is a charge made by White Cross Holiday Park and Marina and NOT by the owners of this rental property. At peak times you may need to book a slot for use of the swimming pool which can be done at the holiday park's reception desk.

“Beautiful stay”

Such a lovely place to stay and visit around that area.We enjoyed our stay at Windermere,there's plenty to do with the kids . Definitely need to come back in spring or summer for another trip.

“Great base”

Caravan was a fantastic base for exploring the Lake District. It had everything we needed and was clean upon arrival. WiFi didn’t work but this was a park issue. Owner was great to deal with and we would definitely try to book again next time we are in the area.

“Excellent accommodation”

We have just returned from staying at 7 Troutbeck, White Cross Bay for three nights. It was very easy and quick to book with the owner responding almost immediately to questions. The lodge/caravan was lovely and comfortable, and absolutely spotless. It is a proper home from home and I would definitely recommend a stay. It is a very generous size and more of a lodge than a static caravan. The site itself is excellent and even though we went in low season there were plenty of people around. There is all you could wish for including lovely pool with sauna, gym etc. The whole site is dog friendly which is fantastic even in the restaurant which we ate in regularly. The prices are very reasonable and they do a lovely breakfast as well. The site is also in a great spot to access all the lovely villages close by. I would definitely book this property again, we really enjoyed it!!!

“Smashing!”

Not much to say other than this holiday being just what the doctor ordered. Caravan was as good and better than expected, although slightly smaller space levels in the bedrooms than ive previously experienced (albeit still very manoeverable with plenty of storage spaces as well as tv and facilities in the double) the living area and kitchen however benefited from this perhaps because they were huge and very comfortable. Besides that the only issue we had was that the kettle leaked a little. Other than this, would wholly recommend this lodging, neighbours aren't too close, very secluded, quiet, extremely well kitted out and with a lovely walk through a mini forest through to the private marina I couldn't think of anything more we needed other than maybe another week! Thank you to Paul and Kim for operating a grand little gem. 5/5
