Description

Foxgloves is close to Lake Windermere. Newly decorated throughout. Foxgloves offers comfortable accommodation to a high standard. Ideally placed to explore all that the Lake District has to offer, Beatrix Potter experience, Dove cottage, Wordsworth's house. Foxgloves is ideal for couples, solo adventurers, business . Pets are welcome. I know how important they are to people. A great self catering apartment especially if you prefer not to drive.

Getting around

Parking, there is unrestricted parking on College road or 1hr parking on Main street in Windermere until 6pm. There are also a couple of spaces just to the side of Cumbiran cottages. Car parking is very busy during the day but usually after 5 you can park outside of Cumbrian cottages and either leave you car for the duration of your stay or go off for the day and park again after 5 pm.Train and bus station 3 minutes walk away, Mountain Goat should you wish to book a tour. Buses run frequently and you can buy daily passes for exploring. Bike hire by train station you really won't be grounded. Numerous taxis available and mini cab office located at the bottom end of College Road. FREE parking is available on College road.

“Absolutely loved this apartment!”

We stayed at Foxgloves for 2 nights during a tour of the region, it was by far our best accommodation! We will definitely look to book again in future but keep it as our base to tour the area rather than changing accommodation. Whoever wrote about dust needs to get a life!! Thank you Wayne for letting us stay in your beautiful apartment.

How do damage deposits work?
