Cottage in Brook Road, Nr. Windermere, Lake District, Cumbria, England - Quiet, Relaxing And Peaceful Location, 15 Minutes Walk From Lake Windermere. Less than 10 minutes walk from the village of Windermere which has a wide variety of places to eat and drink, along with a variety of independent retailers.

The cottage offers quality, warmth and luxury accommodation for 2 people. Upon entering the property via solid slate steps to the beautiful bespoke solid oak door you are welcomed to an open plan lounge which is naturally lit by the large bay window. A beautifully lit staircase leads you up to the balcony bedroom via the thick luxury pile carpet. Downstairs takes you to a solid oak kitchen with all the facilities you’d expect and an amazing bathroom with under floor heating and bespoke walnut furniture where you set the temperature for the shower before you step in!

“Nice relaxing week away .”

The cottage was a lovely little bolt hole to get away to.vrey clean and tidy , right down to the homemade cakes milk in the fridge for a nice cup of tea .

“Charming cottage with ideal location”

Loved our stay at The Floss, easy to find and in great location of Windermere and Bowness. The Floss had all the amenities you could have wished for and was spotless. We could have easily spent a whole week here to explore the area and hopefully will be back in the future.

“Amazing little gem in the heart of the lakes”

We had a fabulous stay in a little cottage that was fab. It was spotless and very cosy. The lovely cakes and milk for a cuppa on arrival was a nice homely touch. As stated only 10 mins walk into Bowness but as the cottage was so well equipped we ate in most nights. The full size bath and all mod cons were a lovely surprise .our hosts were so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back and we have already told others how it's a little gem.. only problem with that is more people will want to stay. 5 star review and thanks for a lovely week

How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.

If Michael (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
