Excellent. Brand new let. Everything perfect. Very spacious.

We were the first people to rent this cottage and we were delighted with everything. New crockery, cutlery, kitchen utensils, beds and bedding. To name but a few. The views from the balcony are magnificent. The owner was incredibly helpful. All baby equipment is new and still in packaging. Overall excellent.

We stayed for two weeks at 9 Windsor Terrace and really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is well equipped, very comfortable and has generous sized rooms. Amazing!!

Beautiful cottage. Every room was clean and to a high standard. Well worth the money. The hot tub was clean, the owner came round to top it up as well and to check the chlorine levels. A comfortable unwind

The upstairs flat was well fitted and the decor was
cosy and "country comfortable". The views were
lovely and peaceful.

We brought our 1 year old son with us, and it was
perhaps a bit too cramped with the required cot and

Fabulous cottage, very roomy, & extremely well equipped. It has lovely big rooms, with a very comfortable king sized bed. A nice bathroom, with a bath & a large powerful shower.

The kitchen has everything you might need to prepare a meal, although we only used it for breakfast & drinks ! There is a little courtyard outside the kitchen which would be nice to sit during the summer.

The cottage was spotlessly clean and is compact enought for 2 people. The kitchen has everything you need and the bed is comfy. The only issue I had was the power from the shower is really low to the point of an almost dribble and it was really cold in the cottage and took a long time to heat up. Other than those minor niggles it is a great little cottage and good spot for getting out and about

Truly a home from home

Immaculately presented, tastefully blending the original farmhouse with state of the art kitchen and bathrooms. The snug was so useful for the kids to watch TV! All the rooms were a generous size and beautifully furnished; we especially liked the huge sofas in the living room. Better planning would have found a permanent place for the device. A fabulous cottage in an unspoilt landscape

The cottage was a last minute booking and we landed well and truly on our feet. the cottage is brand new - ie completely refurbished and therefore in superb order. Comfort is the order of the day. Complimentary dressing gowns, a hamper of 'freebies' on arrival and a very welcoming owner in Nicola.

Great place for a big family holiday. Loads of space for all- 3 reception areas- one with a fantastic stained glass window. Two pointers and i stayed at Curlew Cottage for a week. The weather was mixed but the walking is terrific. Hadrians wall is now a favourite.
The cottage is really comfortable. Great shower for after the walks comfy bed.
The cottage reminded me of times past at home with horses and dogs around.

Tranquility in a quaint setting.

The stay at the stable at the Old Church Cottages was the best experience we have had with self catering. Relaxing Week
