Vista Pacifica - Amazing Jungle and Ocean Views

Beautiful house in paradise

The house is stunning - exactly as depicted on the website. The location is unique and perfect...on the top of a hill in the tropical forest with views over forest and palm plantations to the Pacific Ocean. The sunsets are stunning. The location is very private. Troops of squirrel monkeys passed by the house while we were there, and the sounds of tropical birds filled the air. There are two decks (one on each story of the house) and a private pool on the lower deck. The drive from the gatehouse at the front of the property to the house is about 10 minutes over hilly gravel roads. We had no problems with this (both in the day and at night), but a four wheel drive vehicle is recommended (these are very easy to rent in Costa Rica). Brian, our host, was extremely helpful. He met us at the gatehouse (having patiently waited as we were late) and escorted us to the house. He toured us around the house and gave us great tips about things to do in the area (he knows it well); he is happy to book these activities on behalf of his guests. He called us during our stay to make sure that everything was going well and encouraged us to call him at any time - a terrific guy. I would not hesitate to recommend this property and we hope to go back. The house, the area and the people and landscape of Costa Rica are marvelous. … see more
